Barkley Sauter brings a deep background in both playing and coaching, with experience spanning junior, collegiate, and professional hockey. His career includes time in the SJHL, where he was a two-time league and Anavet Cup champion, followed by U SPORTS competition with Acadia University, and professional play in the CHL and WPHL. His approach balances skill development with character, resilience, and long-term growth.
As Head Coach of the 17U AAA Bigfoot team for the 2026/27 season, Barkley operates within the Competition phase of the P3 Pathway, preparing athletes for the demands of higher-level hockey while reinforcing habits that translate beyond the game.
